You have the right to request deletion of any personal information The Borrelli Report has collected about you. This page explains what data we hold, how to request deletion, and what to expect.
Quick summary: Email johnny@theborrellireport.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.
What data we may have
If you have ever used our calculator, completed our survey, subscribed to our newsletter, or contacted us, we may hold the following types of information:
Contact informationFirst name, email address, and (if provided) phone number
Calculator and survey responsesAge range, retirement timeline, account balance ranges, and other planning inputs you entered
Personalized report dataTax exposure scores, RMD projections, IRMAA risk assessments, and other diagnostic outputs derived from your survey responses
CommunicationsEmails, scheduling history, and consultation notes (if applicable)
App and website usageAnonymized analytics about feature use, session length, and crash diagnostics
What we do not collect: Social Security numbers, exact account balances, account numbers, financial credentials, or any sensitive financial identifiers.
How to request deletion
Email Your Deletion Request
Send a message from the email address associated with your account.
To help us process your request quickly, please include:
The email address associated with your subscription, calculator use, or survey response
Whether you want all of your data deleted, or only a specific portion (for example, only newsletter subscription)
Any other identifying information that may help us locate your data (such as your name as it appears in our records)
We may follow up to verify your identity before processing the request, especially if the request involves a substantial amount of data or comes from an email address other than the one on file.
What happens after you submit a request
Acknowledgment within 2 business daysWe confirm receipt of your request via email and let you know if any additional verification is needed.
VerificationWe confirm that the deletion request is coming from the data subject (you) or an authorized representative.
Deletion processed within 30 daysWe remove your data from our active systems, including our email service provider (Beehiiv), automation tools (Zapier), and any internal records.
Confirmation of completionYou receive a final email confirming what was deleted and the date deletion was completed.
Important limitations
While we honor all valid deletion requests, certain data may be retained for limited purposes as permitted or required by law:
Legal and regulatory obligations: If you have engaged us in a formal advisory capacity, financial industry regulations may require us to retain certain records for a period of years after the relationship ends.
Fraud prevention and security: We may retain limited information necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
Anonymized data: Aggregated and anonymized data that cannot identify you personally may be retained indefinitely for analytics and improvement purposes.
Backups: Your data may persist in encrypted backups for a brief retention period before being overwritten in normal backup cycles. This data is not actively used.
